My name is Amanda Jacobsmeyer. For the next 18 months, I'll just be Sister Jacobsmeyer. Or Sister J. Or just Sister.

What can I say? I'm a party animal.

I graduated high school in 2011, then went to BYU-Idaho to study communications for a year and a half. Now I'm taking a break from that to start the new adventure of serving the Lord for 18 months.

While serving a mission, I will be working all day every day towards one goal: to invite others to come unto Christ. My only contact with home will be weekly emails. Other than emails, I will not be using the internet, my cell phone, or my iPod. But I wouldn't call it a sacrifice, I'd call it an investment.
